With over 10 years of experience in the field, I have served as a Behavioral Therapist, Supervisor, and Clinical Director, specializing in applied behavior analysis therapy. I am a firm believer in the power of evidence-based practices to bring about meaningful and lasting change in the lives of individuals with special needs.
As a Behavioral Therapist, I have worked directly with clients, implementing individualized treatment plans and utilizing behavior analytic techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development. This hands-on experience has provided me with invaluable insights into the unique needs and strengths of individuals with special needs.
In my role as a Supervisor, I have had the privilege of mentoring and guiding a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and adherence to best practices. I have fostered a collaborative and supportive environment, promoting ongoing professional development and growth.
As a Clinical Director, I have taken on a leadership role in shaping the direction and vision of the organization. I have been responsible for overseeing program development, ensuring the implementation of evidence-based practices, and maintaining the highest standards of care. I have also actively engaged in research and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field to continuously improve our services.
With a strong belief in evidence-based practices, I am committed to providing the most effective and ethical interventions for individuals with special needs. As a parent, I have experienced the sleepless nights, the constant search for resources and support within the community, and the sometimes chaotic behaviors that can accompany raising a child with special needs. These experiences have fueled my passion and drive to advocate for individuals with special needs and their families, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
Connecting with my own son on the spectrum has been a transformative journey. It has given me a unique perspective and a deep empathy for the struggles and triumphs that families face on a daily basis. This personal connection has further motivated me to dedicate my career to improving the lives of individuals with special needs.
Looking towards the future, I am committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in applied behavior analysis therapy and other evidence-based interventions. I believe in the power of early intervention and the potential for individuals with special needs to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

I am a highly dedicated professional with a decade of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. My academic background includes a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Child and Adolescent Studies, reflecting a solid foundation in the field. I hold the prestigious certification of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), underscoring my commitment to advancing the practice.

In my role as a Behavior Analyst Supervisor, I provide crucial clinical supervision to behavior technicians, ensuring the effective implementation of ABA therapy programs. My responsibilities encompass conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive client care.

During my tenure as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, I showcased my expertise by conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and closely monitoring client progress. Proficient in data analysis, I make informed adjustments to behavior intervention plans, contributing to positive outcomes for my clients. Additionally, my experience as a Behavior Technician allowed me to successfully implement ABA therapy programs in diverse settings, such as homes and schools. My commitment to client-centered care is evident through collaboration with families and other professionals, ensuring a holistic and coordinated approach.
My unique perspective is enriched by personal experience growing up with a family member who had a moderate intellectual disability. For 10 years, my maternal aunt lived with me, providing firsthand insights into the challenges faced by families with special needs members. This experience has deeply influenced my understanding and empathy, fostering a compassionate and empathetic approach to my work in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
I am an active member of professional organizations, including the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI). My skill set encompasses a wide range of ABA-related competencies, including functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention plans, data collection and analysis, supervision and training, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration. My comprehensive background and personal insights make me a valuable asset in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
